Building on the back to the success of the cargo bike picnics in Melbourne and due to the increasing popularity of cargo bikes in Brisbane, Good Concepts is helping organize a cargo bike picnic.

This is a great opportunity to come and take a cargo bike for a test ride, talk to people who ride cargo bikes and see a whole range of different cargo bike in the one spot at the one time.

 

We are hoping to hold this event some time towards the end of May or Early June. The location and date has not been set yet but if you are interested please feel free to register your interest at the Brisbane Cargo Bike Facebook page.

Second Cargo bike picnic a big success!

Despite the dismal weather lots of cargo bike enthusiasts turned out to ride, test and talk about cargo bikes at the second Cargo bike picnic at Edinburgh Gardens, North Fitzroy in Melbourne. All of the Australian cargo bike suppliers were represented and lots of really small babies – and big kids too – got their first taste of riding in a cargo bike.

For a while the rain even stopped. A big thanks to everyone who came especially Shelley who brought chocolate cake and allowed test rides on her snazzily Brooks equipped Longhaul.
